The conference took place over a period of 1 day, delegates listened to comrades at the Provincial Political School, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee and the Provincial Federation of Labor convey basic political knowledge to workers.

Speaking at the conference, Ms. Le Thi Kim Chi - Vice President of Tra Vinh Provincial Federation of Labor - informed that the 13th National Party Congress had determined: "Building a modern and strong working class; improving political mettle, educational qualifications, expertise, professional skills, industrial style, labor discipline to adapt to the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Strengthen propaganda and political and ideological education for the working class".
With the direction of the Provincial Party Committee, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, and the Provincial Federation of Labor, a Plan has been developed and issued on innovation and improving the effectiveness of political and ideological education; propaganda and mobilization of union members, workers, civil servants, and laborers in the new situation.
