On May 15, in Buon Ma Thuot city (Dak Lak province), Emulation Cluster No. 8 of the Labor Federations of the Central Highlands provinces held a conference to review the first 6 months of 2025.
The conference was attended by Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Phan Van Anh; leaders of the Labor Confederations of 5 provinces in the Central Highlands.
In the first 6 months of 2025, trade unions at all levels in the Cluster have closely followed the leadership of local Party committees and the direction of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.

Trade unions at all levels in the Cluster have visited and presented gifts to 220,867 cases in difficult circumstances and serious illnesses with a total amount of nearly 107 billion VND; supported the construction and repair of "Union Shelter" houses for 145 cases in difficulty with a total cost of nearly 7 billion VND; signed 50 new collective labor agreements...
Currently, the total number of workers and civil servants in the Cluster is 275,054 people with 260,550 union members and 6,502 grassroots unions.
Implementing the policy of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor on streamlining the organization and apparatus, the Labor Federations of the provinces have developed a project to reorganize the apparatus.
As a result, in the first 6 months of the year, the Cluster had 10 targets exceeded, 1 target assigned reached 100%, 6 targets reached over 50% and 1 target reached below 50%.

At the conference, units in the Cluster shared good and effective ways of doing things in trade union activities. Delegates also shared solutions to focus resources on taking care of the welfare of union members and workers in the new situation...
Speaking at the conference, the Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor highly appreciated the achievements of the units in the Cluster in the first 6 months of 2025.
In the coming time, trade unions in the provinces need to strive to achieve the highest level of goals, tasks and targets assigned. At the same time, continue to perform well the function of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers.

On this occasion, the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor presented the Emulation Flag to the Dak Nong Provincial Labor Federation and a Certificate of Merit to the Dak Lak Provincial Labor Federation.

These units have achieved outstanding results in the emulation movement for workers, civil servants, laborers and trade union activities in 2024.
