97.71% of agencies meet cultural standards
Implementing the direction of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor guiding the implementation of Decision No. 2214 dated December 28, 2021 of the Prime Minister on approving the Program to implement the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life" for the period 2021-2026 and the province's directive documents on implementing the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life", the Standing Committee of the Provincial Confederation of Labor has guided the criteria for considering and recognizing agencies, units and enterprises that meet cultural standards with a number of main criteria: Completing tasks well or better (for enterprises that complete production and business tasks); implementing a civilized lifestyle, cultural environment in the office/enterprise; paying attention to the material and spiritual life of cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers; being exemplary and strictly complying with the Party's guidelines and policies; policies and laws of the State.
Sir, what outstanding results have been achieved in the movement to build culturally standard agencies, units and enterprises in the province?
- Immediately after the Steering Committee assigned the Provincial Federation of Labor to preside over the movement and after more than 1 year of implementation, the focal points assigned tasks in the Guidelines of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor (including 10 district, town and city federations of labor; Department of Home Affairs, Department of Health, Department of Education and Training; Provincial Police, Provincial Military Command and Provincial Industrial Park Management Board) have coordinated well with functional agencies in guiding, inspecting, urging and considering recognition of agencies, units and enterprises meeting cultural standards. In 2023, the rate of agencies meeting cultural standards was 97.71%; units meeting cultural standards was 95.37%; and enterprises meeting cultural standards was 40.3%.
Along with that, heads of agencies, units and enterprises have paid attention to registering and implementing the movement; every year the number of registrations reaches over 80% (of which, 100% of administrative agencies and public service units register; over 50% of enterprises register).
Emulation movements and implementation of grassroots democracy regulations have been launched and implemented well, especially with positive changes in enterprises such as: Organizing labor conferences; dialogue, negotiation and signing of collective labor agreements; activities of people's inspection boards, resolving and participating in resolving policies related to union members and workers.
In addition, cultural, artistic, physical education and sports movements have received more attention from agencies, units and enterprises, creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere in labor, production, work and study, contributing to the good implementation of political tasks as well as production and business...
Replicating advanced models
Sir, in the coming time, what orientations and plans does the Provincial Federation of Labor have to more strongly develop the movement to build culturally standard agencies, units and enterprises in the province?
- To continue to effectively implement the movement to build "Culturally Standard Agencies, Units and Enterprises" in the coming time, trade unions at all levels focus on strengthening propaganda and dissemination of the Party's resolutions and directives, and the State's legal policies on the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life", the movement "Building culturally standard agencies, units and enterprises" as well as strictly implementing the direction of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the Provincial Steering Committee to effectively deploy the movement;
Every year, the Provincial Federation of Labor will closely coordinate with sectors and levels in directing, guiding, inspecting, evaluating, recognizing, and improving the quality of agencies, units, and enterprises that meet cultural standards; pay attention to building, replicating, and rewarding advanced models.
The Provincial Federation of Labor will also be flexible in organizing and implementing the movement at agencies, units and enterprises in accordance with the actual situation, contributing to building a healthy and civilized cultural environment.
