On December 2, the Hue City Labor Federation announced that the Hue Central Hospital Trade Union organized the 19th Congress of Delegates for the 2025-2030 term. This is an important political event, marking the transformation of the Trade Union organization at one of the largest end-line hospitals in the country.
The Congress took place in a vibrant atmosphere under the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Innovation - Development". Reporting at the Congress, BSCKII. Duong Anh Quan - Chairman of the Hospital Trade Union said that in the 2023-2025 term, the Hue Central Hospital Trade Union has promoted a sense of responsibility, creativity, and completed the set goals. The material and spiritual life of workers has improved; caring for and protecting union members' rights has been implemented synchronously; emulation movements and social charity activities have remained effective.
With outstanding results, Hue Central Hospital was honored at " Glory of Vietnam" 2024; was awarded the title of Outstanding Labor Collective by the Ministry of Health in 2023-2024. The Hospital Trade Union also received the Emulation Flag of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and is the only grassroots trade union of the Vietnam Health Trade Union honored at the 11th National Patriotic Emulation Congress.
In his speech, Prof. Dr. Pham Nhu Hiep - Director of the Hospital highly appreciated the contributions of the Trade Union, and at the same time proposed to continue innovating the methods of operation, promoting the role of accompanying the profession to build Hue Central Hospital into a high-class medical center, training high-quality human resources on par with the region and the world.
Entering the 20252030 term, the Hue Central Trade Union has determined to focus on improving operational efficiency; promoting propaganda, fostering political awareness and legal knowledge; enhancing digital transformation; building a strong and professional Trade Union organization.
Some specific goals include: increasing non-salary income by 5 10%/year; ensuring that 90% of union members have access to information and policies; 100% of union members and workers are trained and updated with professional knowledge and digital skills; admitting 100% of new workers; introducing 130150 outstanding union members to the Party.
The Congress elected the Executive Committee of the Trade Union of the 19th tenure, consisting of 15 comrades, and elected 3 official delegates to attend the 15th Congress of the Vietnam Health Trade Union. At the same time, the Congress expressed gratitude to the members of the 18th Executive Committee for not continuing to participate in the new term.
Closing the 2023-2025 term with many impressions, the Hue General Hospital Trade Union aims to build a team of union members "Solidarity - Intelligence - Dynamism - Creativity", contributing to the strong development of Hue General Hospital, maintaining its position as the leading medical center in Vietnam and the region.
