On the afternoon of October 31, at the 5th Conference, the Executive Committee of the 14th Binh Dinh Provincial Federation of Labor listened to the presentation of the draft program and plan to implement the Resolution of the 14th Congress of Binh Dinh Trade Union and the Resolution of the 13th Congress of Vietnam Trade Union, term 2023 - 2028.
Among the 5 work programs discussed and approved at the conference, the Program to innovate trade union operation methods, focusing on union members and workers, received many comments.
The program identifies 6 key solutions: Organizing practical activities to care for the material and spiritual life of union members and workers; enhancing the role of representing and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers; strengthening propaganda and mobilization work to raise awareness, political capacity, class awareness, national pride and self-respect for union members and workers; organizing training and fostering to improve the educational level, expertise, professional skills, industrial style, and labor discipline of workers; innovating, creating, and improving the effectiveness of patriotic emulation movements and campaigns among union members and workers; discovering, nurturing, and introducing outstanding union officials and members to the Party Committee for consideration of admission to the Party.
The program was issued to concretize the targets and tasks of the Resolution of the 14th Congress of Binh Dinh Trade Union, the Resolution of the 13th Congress of Vietnam Trade Union; to create consensus and clear changes in the awareness and actions of trade unions at all levels, cadres, union members and workers in the whole province in innovating working methods, taking union members and workers as the center; thereby taking advantage of the leadership of Party committees at all levels, the coordination and support of the government, unions and enterprises in building a strong trade union organization...
The remaining four programs include: Improving the quality and effectiveness of negotiation, dialogue, and signing of collective labor agreements; focusing resources on taking care of the welfare of union members and workers in the new situation; developing union members and establishing grassroots unions in non-state enterprises by 2028, with a vision to 2033; building a team of grassroots union chairmen to meet task requirements, especially chairmen of grassroots unions in non-state enterprises.
The conference approved the plan to deploy the Forum "Voice of Binh Dinh Workers"; the plan to continue implementing Directive No. 20-CT/TW dated January 18, 2018 of the Central Party Secretariat (12th tenure) "on continuing to strengthen and improve the quality of research, compilation, propaganda, and education of Party history" in Binh Dinh Trade Union...
