Union spends billions of dong on gifts for union members

Freewell Company Limited (a foreign-invested enterprise specializing in the production of leather shoes for export, located in Bac Dong Phu Industrial Park), is one of the companies with the largest number of workers in Binh Phuoc province. This is also the company that has implemented early activities to care for employees during Tet.

The Freewell Company Limited Trade Union has reviewed and identified 7 union members working at the company who are in particularly difficult circumstances. The Trade Union Executive Committee went to the union members' homes to give each worker's family a gift worth 1.5 million VND including cash and necessities.

Regarding Tet care for all union members, the Freewell Company Limited Union said that this year, the company's union gave Tet gifts to 6,355 union members. Each union member received a gift of 350,000 VND in cash. The total value of the gifts was 2.22 billion VND. The unit transferred the gifts to the union members' accounts on January 16.

At New Apparel Far Eastern Company (Dong Phu district), the Trade Union also implemented many activities to take care of Tet for union members.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai Chi - Chairman of the Company's Trade Union said that at the end of the year, the unit continues to support union members who are unfortunately sick or have accidents. Through the program of connecting love, the union has supported many workers in especially difficult circumstances.

In particular, for the Tet care activities for union members, the unit gave 3,473 gifts, each worth nearly 275,000 VND. The total value of the Tet gifts was 954 million VND. The union also organized a Tet reunion program with many cultural and artistic activities to create a Tet atmosphere for workers.

According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai Chi, the company has also announced the 2025 Tet welfare policies for employees to feel secure at work. The company will give Tet bonuses equal to the 13th month salary, the lowest bonus is 5.4 million VND, the highest bonus is nearly 43 million VND. The total amount of money to take care of workers during the Lunar New Year 2025 is 28.3 billion VND.

Many activities to take care of Tet

Dong Xoai - Dong Phu Industrial Park Trade Union is managing 52 grassroots trade unions, with 32,996 union members. During Tet, the unit reviewed and supported workers who unfortunately had work-related accidents or serious illnesses.

Recently, the Dong Xoai - Dong Phu Industrial Park Trade Union visited and presented gifts to 5 workers at P.S Production and Import-Export Company Limited, each gift worth 2.3 million VND; the total value is 11.5 million VND.

Ms. Ngo Thi Yen - Chairwoman of the Dong Xoai - Dong Phu Industrial Park Union said that during the Tet holiday, the unit selected more than 3,000 union members and workers in difficult circumstances to take care of. Selected 126 union members and workers in difficult circumstances to receive support from the Provincial Federation of Labor for the "Union Bus - Spring 2025". Organized visits and gifts for union members and workers at boarding houses on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025. Organized the program Tet Sum Vay - Spring of gratitude to the Party in 2025.

The Trade Union of Industrial Parks in Binh Phuoc province is also organizing activities "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Ung Dang" and the 2025 Trade Union Tet Market. The unit has presented 200 gifts and 1,700 shopping vouchers (worth 100,000 VND/voucher) to union members and workers in difficult circumstances.

The Binh Phuoc Industrial Parks Trade Union also allocated 500,000 VND/person to 830 union members in difficult circumstances and union members with excellent achievements to participate in purchasing products and goods at the 2025 Union Tet Market.
