Ensuring jobs for nearly 2,500 workers
On November 12, the Trade Union of 29/3 Textile and Garment Joint Stock Company held the 16th Trade Union Congress for the 2025-2030 term. The congress was attended by Mr. Huynh Thanh Xuan - Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and leaders of the Da Nang City Labor Federation.

Ms. Le Thi Hai Chau - Chairwoman of the Trade Union of 29/3 Textile and Garment Joint Stock Company said: The Company's grassroots trade union currently has 2,364 union members, accounting for 95.98% of the total number of employees of the enterprise.
During the past term, the Executive Committee of the Trade Union has always identified the core goal of caring for and protecting the rights of workers, from negotiating, signing and implementing Collective Labor Agreements with many more favorable provisions than those prescribed by law, to proactively supervising policies on wages, bonuses, insurance, and occupational safety and hygiene.
Regimes such as child deposit support, long-term retirement allowances, serious medical examinations, on-site shift meals, etc. have come into play, contributing to improving the quality of workers' lives.
Notably, the Trade Union coordinated with business leaders to establish an online feedback channel via QR code, creating conditions for workers to easily comment and reflect on meals, salaries or working environment.
This is an important step forward in implementing the Grassroots Democracy Regulations, helping all opinions to be listened to and processed promptly, building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations.
In the past term, the total amount of money that the grassroots trade union has directly spent on employees was more than 7.86 billion VND, accounting for 76.6% of the total trade union financial expenditure. In addition, the Trade Union also visited and subsidized 46 disadvantaged cases with a total budget of nearly 400 million VND; maintained cultural - sports activities, competitions, football tournaments, arts, clubs... creating a rich spiritual life, strengthening solidarity in the collective.
Improving representative efficiency
The grassroots trade union of 29/3 Textile and Garment Joint Stock Company does not only stop at taking care of material life but also focuses on building self-protection capacity for workers.
Every year, the trade union coordinates to propagate the Labor Law, the Social Insurance Law, the Labor Safety and Hygiene Law, disseminate knowledge on gender equality, preventing sexual harassment at the workplace... attracting thousands of workers to participate.

In implementing Directive 05-CT/TW on studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style, the Trade Union has commended 13 outstanding collectives and 122 individuals; many individuals have been commended by the Da Nang City Labor Federation. The emulation movement "Good workers, creative workers" recorded 332 initiatives and ideas for technical improvement, bringing practical benefits to businesses and workers.
Women's work has been widely implemented, focusing on specific policies: arranging rest stools for pregnant women, milk collection rooms, private parking areas for pregnant workers, and reasonable rest for women with young children. The movements "Good at public affairs, good at housework" and "Exemplary worker families" are maintained, spreading the spirit of gender equality and empowering female workers.
Entering the 20252030 term, the 29/3 Textile and Garment Trade Union focuses on innovating the content and methods of operation, adapting to green transformation and automation in production. Specific targets such as: 80% of union members participate in cultural and sports activities; 90% of workers are disseminated the law; each year, at least 4 new party members are introduced... showing a strong determination to the grassroots, taking workers as the center of all actions.
