The warm house of EVN colleagues
Recently, the Trade Union of the National Power Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT) visited Tan Hoa Trong Hamlet, Tan Phu Tay Commune, Mo Cay Bac District, Ben Tre Province to visit and hand over the "Union Shelter" to the family of union member Uong Ung Phu - a security guard for the Western Power Transmission 2.
The family of Uong Uong Phu member is difficult - the family economy depends on his own income. Previously, Mr. Phu had to live in the same house as his father and mother. By 2010, the family temporarily built him a 4 -level house of wood, roof and corrugated iron roof. Due to the time, the house is seriously degraded, hot in the summer, dilapidated in the rainy season, especially the columns due to long -term use are also a lot ...
Understanding the difficult circumstances of union members Uong Uong Phu, Trade Union of Technical Service Center 4 helped him make procedures for supporting the construction of "Trade Union Shelter". And his "Trade Union Shelter" record has been decided by the National Power Trade Union of Vietnam Power Corporation to deduct social assistance fund to support the funding to build the "Trade Union Shelter". After 3 months of construction, the house has basically completed.
Directly presenting the support of 40 million VND to union members, Mr. Trinh Tuan Son, Chairman of EVNNPT Trade Union, expressed his joy and said that this is an activity of profound humanitarian significance, demonstrating the concern and practical care of trade unions at all levels for the lives of employees; especially union members with difficult housing circumstances, encouraging workers to work with peace of mind.
Having a new house, a house containing many warm feelings from EVN colleagues and the Trade Union organization, Mr. Phu was moved to express his deep gratitude and send his thanks to the Vietnam Electricity Trade Union, EVNNPT Trade Union... for always caring to help and creating favorable conditions. Mr. Phu also expressed his determination to overcome all difficulties to successfully complete all assigned tasks, contributing to the management unit's continuous operation of the power grid for safe transmission.
Creating motivation for workers
On June 4, speaking with reporters, Vice President of Vietnam Electricity Trade Union Uong Quang Huy said that during the Workers' Month 2025, Vietnam Electricity Trade Unions at all levels supported 24 "Union Shelters", with a total amount of 740 million VND (the amount of support is at least 30 million VND/house and the highest is 60 million VND/house).
The fact that Vietnam Electricity Trade Union at all levels supports the construction of Union Shelters for union members and workers in difficult circumstances is a practical and important activity, demonstrating the concern of the government and trade union organizations at all levels in caring for workers, thereby contributing to encouraging workers to overcome difficulties, work enthusiastically to produce, and contribute their intelligence and strength to the overall development of the Vietnam Electricity industry - Mr. Uong Quang Huy shared.
According to Mr. Uong Quang Huy, from now until the end of 2025, the Vietnam Electricity Trade Union will continue to implement the "Union Shelter" program to have more union members in EVN Group supported - thereby creating motivation for workers to stabilize their lives and increasingly believe in the mission of the Vietnam Trade Union organization in general and all levels of the Trade Union in EVN Group.
