Specifically, DIV Trade Union actively participates in monitoring and urging the full implementation of legal policies on labor, social insurance, health insurance, as well as strictly implementing regulations on labor safety, labor hygiene and fire prevention.
One of the highlights is the implementation of the Grassroots Democracy Regulations at DIV, thereby, union members and workers have the opportunity to participate in dialogues, discussions and give their opinions directly to important decisions.
DIV Trade Union also focuses on caring for the lives of members and employees, in which the Trade Union has coordinated with professionals to visit and encourage union members in difficult circumstances, who are sick or have encountered natural disasters or epidemics. Activities such as giving gifts during Tet, visiting policy families, and taking care of female workers are carried out promptly, bringing warmth and cohesion to the union member community.
Every year, 100% of union members and employees receive periodic health check-ups, with adequate support to protect the health of each union member. The Trade Union also regularly organizes "Union Meals" activities to enhance solidarity between members and employees.
In particular, DIV Trade Union also launched cultural and sports movements, supporting sports clubs such as badminton, football, table tennis and pickleball... thereby creating a joyful and dynamic atmosphere, contributing to improving the health and spirit of union members.
DIV Trade Union for the 2025-2030 term clearly defines the goal: "DIV Trade Union innovates content and methods of operation; promotes the intelligence and bravery of workers for the goal of building DIV for sustainable development" with the action motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Innovation - Development, for the rights of union members, for the development of DIV".
DIV Trade Union in the coming term sets specific, feasible and easily measurable targets to ensure sustainable development in its activities. Quotations such as 100% of employees eligible for union admission, 100% of union groups achieving strong results, and over 90% of union members receiving periodic health check-ups not only demonstrate deep concern for the material and spiritual life of union members, but also create practical basis for assessment, supervision and continuous improvement.
The targets set by the DIV Trade Union are not only to care for the rights of union members but also closely linked to the sustainable development goals of DIV, creating synchronization between union work and professional political tasks. DIV Trade Union has demonstrated a clear strategy in every step, from professional support to the implementation of unemployment insurance policy propaganda activities, bringing the Law on Unemployment Insurance (amended) into life, contributing to spreading the image of DIV in a close, friendly and professional way.
On December 8, the Vietnam Deposit Insurance Trade Union held its 6th Congress, term 2025-2030. At the congress, delegates elected 15 members of the DIV Trade Union Executive Committee for the 2025-2030 term; Mr. Ngo Quang Luong continued to be Chairman of the DIV Trade Union.
