Spending more than 265 million VND to reward workers' children
On June 1, the Trade Union of Dong Phu Cuong Joint Stock Company (Dinh Quan District) spent more than 265 million VND to reward the children of workers and employees of the company.
With the desire to encourage and motivate the learning spirit of the children of the company's staff, the company's Trade Union will reward the children with achievements in the 2024 - 2025 school year and children under 15 years old. Children with outstanding and good achievements are rewarded with 200,000 VND/child; children with outstanding achievements are rewarded with 150,000 VND/child; all children under 15 years old are rewarded with 100,000 VND/child.
According to the company representative, this small gift will bring joy and become a source of spiritual encouragement for the children to continue to strive, be patient, and study better every day. At the same time, it shows the company's gratitude for the dedication and dedication of all officers and employees in the company in the past time.
Also in June 2025, the grassroots trade unions are preparing for a major program - rewarding children of union members with the achievement of "Good study, good life".
Mr. Nguyen Tan Phap - Chairman of the Trade Union of Pouchen Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Bien Hoa City) - said that since 2002, the company's trade union has maintained a continuous organization to honor workers with good academic achievements and good living.
To continue to encourage learning achievements and encourage children, demonstrating the concern of the Trade Union organization for union members, the Trade Union continues to organize the "Good learning - Good living" award in 2025. The subject is a union member working at Pouchen Vietnam Co., Ltd. whose child is in grade 1 to grade 12 with academic achievements from good (advanced) or higher. Currently, the union is collecting documents to consider rewards.
Exciting activities to honor children of workers who are good at studying and living well
On June 10, the Dinh Quan District Labor Federation organized a reward program for children of workers, civil servants, and laborers with good academic achievements and good living in 2025.
Chairwoman of the Dinh Quan District Labor Federation Do Thi Van Thu also said that in the 2024-2025 school year, the total number of children selected for this year's awards is 216 children. Of which, 83 children are primary school students, 60 children are junior high school students, 49 children are high school students, 24 children are college students, and university students. Notably, this year, 31 children were honored at the provincial level.
Of the 216 children selected this year, 12 families of union members, workers, civil servants, and laborers have children who are rewarded at 2 levels. Similarly, on June 10, the Vinh Cuu District Labor Federation organized a ceremony to honor 465 children of workers, civil servants, and laborers who are good at studying and living well in 2025, of which 52 children were proposed to be commended and rewarded at the provincial level.
Previously, in 2024, 19/19 trade unions at the grassroots level had proactively developed plans to implement the movement to affiliated grassroots trade unions. Thereby, the grassroots trade unions have based on the actual situation to have forms to launch and organize the Good Learning and Good living movement with the support of Party committees, heads of agencies, units, and enterprises; over 100,000 children of workers, civil servants, and armed forces in the whole province have been commended by trade unions at all levels with a total budget of over 30 billion VND.
According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Nhu Y - President of the Dong Nai Provincial Federation of Labor, honoring the children of workers and civil servants, armed forces who are good at studying and living well is one of the meaningful activities, demonstrating the concern and responsibility of the Dong Nai Trade Union organization and has become a traditional movement over the past 25 years. The highlight of the movement is that the number of students honored each year has increased in quantity and quality.
To date, nearly 1.2 million children of workers, civil servants, laborers, and armed forces have been commended and rewarded by trade unions at all levels in Dong Nai province. The students selected for the award are all excellent students, excellent students for many consecutive years at all levels of education and won high prizes in provincial, national, regional and international excellent student competitions; at the same time, actively participating in school and social activities.
