On the morning of December 29, the Provincial Labor Federation organized the 1st Quang Ngai Provincial Trade Union Congress, term 2025 - 2030.
Speaking to direct the Congress, Mr. Huynh Thanh Xuan - Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor emphasized that the first Quang Ngai Provincial Trade Union Congress, term 2025 - 2030 is a very special term of Congress after adjusting the administrative boundaries to merge the two provinces of Quang Ngai and Kon Tum.
This is an important political event, marking the development of the worker movement and trade union activities in the province in the new period.
In the past term, although the implementation time was shortened and objective conditions were still difficult, under the direct and comprehensive leadership of the Provincial Party Committee; the coordination and creation of conditions by the government, departments, agencies, branches, and mass organizations; the efforts, solidarity, and creativity of the team of trade union officials, union members, and workers, the trade union activities of Quang Ngai province have achieved many remarkable and noteworthy results.
The contingent of workers, civil servants, and laborers of Quang Ngai province has gradually improved in quality and diversified in industry structure; having firm political bravery, solidarity, dynamism, and creativity in work, labor, and production.
Trade union levels in the province have constantly innovated the content and methods of operation to suit reality, meet task requirements and achieve many important results. Prominent are the models of caring for union members and workers that continue to be developed, bearing the strong imprint of the Trade Union organization, such as "Tet Sum Vay", "Workers' Month"...
The first Congress of the Quang Ngai Provincial Trade Union, term 2025 - 2030, has the task of concretizing the Resolution of the Quang Ngai Provincial Party Congress into the activities of trade unions at all levels, associated with the goal of building a modern and strong worker contingent, accompanying the socio-economic development of the locality and the country, and adapting to the new situation.
Mr. Huynh Thanh Xuan suggested that trade union levels in the province need to focus on effectively performing the function of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers.

Continue to innovate the content, methods and improve the quality of activities of trade union levels in a flexible and modern direction, in which, promote activities towards the grassroots level, directly and closely with the grassroots level, strengthen propaganda, mobilization, and attracting workers to join the Trade Union, creating a breakthrough in the development of union members in non-state sector enterprises.
Mr. Huynh Thanh Xuan believes that with the leadership of the Provincial Party Committee, the close coordination of all levels of government, the consensus and companionship of businesses and people of all ethnic groups, along with solidarity, the Quang Ngai Provincial Trade Union will firmly step into the new term with a new spirit, new belief and new victories, contributing to building Quang Ngai as a fairly developed province, becoming an important growth pole in the Central - Central Highlands region in the coming years.
The 1st Quang Ngai Provincial Trade Union Congress, term 2025 - 2030, has 200 official delegates who are outstanding officials and union members, representing more than 95,000 union members, workers, civil servants and laborers throughout Quang Ngai province.
