On December 9, the Trade Union of Hanesbrands Vietnam Hue Company Limited (HBI Hue) announced that it had completed the free motorbike repair program for union members and employees working at the enterprise.
This is an annual activity that has been maintained for many years, to ensure the safety of workers during traffic, especially at the end of the year when travel demand increases.
According to HBI Hue Trade Union, during this period, the technical team inspected and repaired nearly 200 motorbikes of workers, focusing on common damages such as tire tattoo replacement, oil replacement, lighting system maintenance and some parts that are prone to deterioration after a long period of use. All expenses are taken from the company's Trade Union fund.
The activity not only helps workers significantly save on vehicle maintenance costs but also contributes to raising awareness of traffic safety compliance, reducing the risk of accidents due to damaged vehicles.
HBI Hue Trade Union said it will continue to maintain the program in the coming years, considering this one of the highlights in caring for and protecting the rights and interests of union members.
