On December 8, the Khanh Viet Corporation Trade Union (Khatoco) held the 6th Trade Union Congress, term 2025-2030.
During the past term, the Corporation's Trade Union affirmed its role as a trust bridge between employees and enterprises, contributing significantly to the internal stability and sustainable development of Khatoco.
Accordingly, 100% of units have organized dialogues, conferences for workers and signed Collective Labor Agreements, of which 90% have achieved type A.
Union member health care continues to be focused on, ensuring that 100% of union members receive regular health check-ups with an in-depth portfolio.
Labor safety and hygiene work has achieved many outstanding results when nearly 6,000 workers have been trained in occupational safety and hygiene, fire prevention and fighting, minimizing serious occupational accidents.
In the emulation movement, the whole corporation recorded 60 initiatives and 214 solutions to rationalize production, bringing a profit value of nearly 18 billion VND.
Speaking at the congress, Mr. Tran Minh Quang - General Director of Khatoco - said that in the current context of strong digital transformation requirements, the Trade Union needs to identify itself as a pioneer in innovation and digital transformation.
The Corporation expects the Union to be more proactive in participating in policy making. Closely coordinate with experts to strengthen supervision of occupational safety and hygiene.
Mr. Quang also pledged, "The Corporation has and will continue to have a mechanism for bonuses, worthy rewards for initiatives that benefit businesses. Let each union member be a creative factor, contributing to the common productivity".
According to Mr. Bui Dang Thanh - Vice President of Khanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation, the congress will study and discuss additional priority solutions and focus all resources to ensure the synchronous implementation and implementation of union member care in 14 grassroots unions.
Increase propaganda and dissemination so that union members clearly and accurately understand the policies and organizations of the Trade Union. Focus on innovating the activity program and content of trade union activities to meet the requirements of tasks in the new situation.
Entering the 2025-2030 term, the Khanh Viet Corporation Trade Union elected a new Executive Committee for the term of 9 people.
The Congress also approved 4 breakthrough tasks: strengthening representation, protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members; innovating and improving the effectiveness of emulation movements, caring for union members' lives;
Applying information technology, digital transformation in trade union activities; Building a strong trade union organization, a team of capable and dedicated cadres.
