On February 28, the Labor Federation of Lien Chieu District, Da Nang City held a conference to summarize the movement of workers, civil servants, laborers and the activities of the District Trade Union in 2024; deploy directions, tasks and launch emulation movements in 2025.
Mr. Truong Cong Hieu - Chairman of the Lien Chieu District Labor Federation - said: In 2024, with the theme "Innovation, creativity, emulation to bring the Resolution of the Trade Union Congress at all levels into life, practically achieve achievements to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union", the movement of workers, civil servants, laborers and activities of the Lien Chieu District Labor Union achieved many encouraging results in all fields, completing and exceeding 13/16 targets assigned by the City Labor Federation.
Notably, the District Labor Federation has instructed 8 grassroots trade unions to develop, negotiate and sign 8 new Collective Labor Agreements (CLAs) with many provisions that are more beneficial to employees, higher than the provisions of current law.
Promote emulation movements "Good workers, Creative workers", "Good consultants, good service", " Implementing office and public place culture".
In addition, during the year, 100% of grassroots trade unions in the administrative sector coordinated with the authorities at the same level to organize well conferences for civil servants, public employees, and workers to promote democracy at the grassroots level, ensuring legitimate and legal rights and interests for union members and workers.
In 2025, Lien Chieu District Labor Federation will focus on promoting the development of union members and the establishment of grassroots unions; innovating the content and methods of union activities, shifting the focus of union activities to the grassroots and building a database system of the District Labor Federation.
Recognizing the achievements, at the conference, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the Da Nang City Labor Federation, and the Lien Chieu District Labor Federation commended and rewarded collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the movement of workers, civil servants, laborers and trade union activities in 2024.
