Up to now, the total number of cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers of units operating in the Vietnam Bank Trade Union system (VBSP Trade Union) is more than 19 1,540 people, the total number of union members is more than 188,690 people.
Adapting to the context of strong digital transformation of the country, the Vietnam Bank Trade Union focuses on organizing online training and coaching. In particular, the Vietnam Bank Trade Union organizes an intensive training course "AI Application - Enhancing Work Efficiency" for union officials at all levels in Hanoi. The program was attended by more than 200 union officials. The program aims to realize the spirit of the "Digital Citizen Learning" program launched by the State Bank of Vietnam, with the goal of bringing artificial intelligence closer, becoming a powerful tool for all activities, from management, operation to communication.

Regarding social security work, the Vietnam Bank Trade Union has implemented a plan to mobilize social security in 2025 in the system; directed trade unions at all levels to take care of union members and workers during the Lunar New Year 2025. Trade unions at all levels in the Vietnam Bank Trade Union system have coordinated with local authorities to visit and present over 256,283 gifts equivalent to VND 128.1 billion to poor households, policy families, meritorious people, etc.
Mr. Dao Minh Tu - Chairman of the Vietnam Bank Trade Union said that from now until the end of 2025, trade unions at all levels in the industry will continue to implement well the policies and regimes for employees; visit and provide subsidies to union members and employees in the industry in difficult circumstances, suffering from serious illnesses... Effectively implement the "Project to improve welfare and benefits for union members and employees in the banking industry".
Strengthen guidance and support for grassroots trade unions to effectively perform their role as employee representatives, focusing on: Dialogue at the workplace, negotiation, signing, and implementation of Collective Labor Agreements, especially on wages, bonuses, working hours, rest hours, etc., participating in implementing democracy at the grassroots level; regularly pay attention to the situation of labor relations.
Focus on propaganda, actively participate in performing tasks and serving Party congresses at all levels, the 14th National Congress of the Party, patriotic emulation congresses at all levels and the 11th National Patriotic Emulation Congress among workers, civil servants and laborers.
Propagate and disseminate to all members and employees in the system to know and agree on the policy of streamlining the apparatus of the Party and State.
In particular, the VBSP focuses on implementing the Comprehensive Digital Transformation Project for the activities of the VBSP in the period of 2025 - 2030 with the goal of meeting the requirements of connecting information and data throughout the industry and to affiliated units and employees; improving the effectiveness of grassroots trade unions; turning bank trade unions and grassroots trade union organizations into modern and professional organizations.
