On June 9, the Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation said that, implementing the program "Gifts from the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress", the unit has reviewed and statistically analyzed 446 union members and workers suffering from dangerous diseases and occupational diseases to propose support.
This is an activity to promptly care for and encourage union members and workers in difficult circumstances, especially those who are heavily affected by illness during labor and work.

The program uses trade union financial resources to support union members and workers suffering from critical illnesses and serious occupational diseases, who are working at agencies, units, and enterprises with trade union organizations.
According to regulations, union members and workers suffering from dangerous diseases or occupational diseases on the list are supported with 1 million VND/person. Cases of both suffering from dangerous diseases, occupational diseases, and difficult circumstances are supported with 2 million VND/person.
Through initial review and statistics in Nghe An, there are 446 union members and workers who are eligible to receive support from the program. Among them, 68 cases with particularly difficult circumstances are supported with 2 million VND/person; 378 cases are supported with 1 million VND/person.
The Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation said that the program is not only meaningful in terms of material support but also a practical source of spiritual encouragement for union members and workers facing difficulties due to illness.
Through the program, the Trade Union organization continues to spread the message "Where workers face difficulties, there are Trade Unions accompanying", affirming the role of caring for and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers.
This is also a practical activity, contributing to helping union members and workers have more motivation to overcome adversity, stabilize their lives and feel secure in working and production.
