News from Son Tra Ward Trade Union, Da Nang city on June 9 said: in order to improve the effectiveness of state management of labor and protect the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers, the Ward Trade Union coordinated with the Ward People's Committee, Hoa Cuong Grassroots Social Insurance, Culture - Society Department, Son Tra Medical Center and Ward Police to organize inspections of the implementation of labor laws, Trade Union Law, Social Insurance Law (BHXH), and Health Insurance (BHYT) at 20 enterprises in the area.
With its function as a member of the inspection team, the Ward Trade Union focuses on evaluating the implementation of regulations on labor contracts, wages, working hours, rest hours, occupational safety and health, participation in social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance for employees; the deduction and payment of trade union funds, union dues; the work of caring for life, protecting the rights of employees as well as the compliance with regulations on fire prevention and fighting, security and order at enterprises.
Through inspection activities, the working group promptly grasped the production and business situation of enterprises, and at the same time recorded positive results in implementing regimes and policies for workers. In addition, the delegation also pointed out some shortcomings and limitations that need to be overcome; guided, propagated and answered difficulties related to the provisions of labor law, trade unions and social insurance.
Inspection activities contribute to raising the awareness of law compliance of employers, ensuring the legitimate rights and interests of workers, building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations at enterprises, and at the same time strengthening the role of trade union organizations in representing, caring for and protecting union members and workers in Son Tra ward.
