Ward and commune trade unions in Lao Cai organize the first Executive Committee Conference

At the Conference, Mr. Bui Xuan Hai - Deputy Head of the Trade Union Work Department of Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation announced the Decision to establish Nghia Lo Ward Trade Union; Appointed Ms. Vuong Thi Anh - Deputy Head of the Organization - Inspection Department, Provincial Labor Federation to hold the position of Chairman of Nghia Lo Ward Trade Union.

Nghia Lo Ward Trade Union was established after merging 3 districts and towns of the old Yen Bai province including: Nghia Lo Town, Van Chan District, Tram Tau District with 48 grassroots trade unions and more than 2,000 union members.

In his speech, Mr. Phan Huy Cuong - Vice President of Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation highly appreciated the efforts of the Executive Committee and the Standing Committee of the ward union.

The Vice President of Lao Cai Provincial Federation of Labor suggested that the Executive Committee and the Standing Committee of the Ward Trade Union should review the number of grassroots trade unions and the number of grassroots union members; promptly issue Working Regulations and assign specific tasks.

"For public service units, units that have been merged and dissolved, in order to stabilize the organization, without interruption of activities to protect the rights of union members and workers", Mr. Phan Huy Cuong emphasized.

Previously, on July 15, the Executive Committee of the Yen Binh Commune Trade Union held the First Conference (expanded), term 2023-2028 to announce the Decisions to establish the Commune Trade Union, appointing Mr. Hoang Minh Duc - Chairman of the Yen Binh Commune Trade Union.

It is known that the Yen Binh Commune Trade Union has 30 grassroots trade unions and 1,226 union members who are producing, trading and performing public service tasks in 5 communes (Yen Binh, Bao Ai, Thac Ba, Yen Thanh, Cam Nhan communes in Yen Binh district, the old Yen Bai province).
