The program "Union Shelter" brings joy and hope to many union members and workers in difficult circumstances, helping them overcome life's challenges.

boundless joy

Ms. Le Thi Huyen Nga (in Dong Hoi City, Quang Binh Province) could not hide her joy when receiving support from the “Union Shelter” program. Ms. Nga has been a worker at Quang Binh Urban Development and Environment Joint Stock Company since 2008. Her main job is to collect trash and sweep the streets every day.

Currently raising a young child alone, she was fortunate to receive support from the “Union Shelter” last year with a budget of 30 million VND. “I still remember that at the end of the year I received a support plaque from the Quang Binh Provincial Federation of Labor. Thinking back to that moment, I am still moved. Thanks to the Union, I was able to overcome the most difficult period,” said Ms. Le Thi Huyen Nga.

With a piece of land given by her parents of 80 square meters, Ms. Nga boldly borrowed 450 million VND from the bank, and with the support of relatives... she was able to build a solid house.

More than 28 "Union Shelters" were built and repaired.

In 2024, the Quang Binh Provincial Federation of Labor supported the construction and repair of 28 "Union Shelters" worth 960 million VND in key programs and activities.
