Ms. Le Thi Hong Minh - Chairwoman of the Trade Union of Vinh Nguyen 20 Kindergarten has been involved in trade union work for many years. In recent years, Nha Trang City Labor Federation has received and helped dozens of union members resolve related regimes and policies. Every May - Workers' Month, Nha Trang City Labor Federation organizes dialogues between union members, union officials and the Chairman of the City People's Committee.
From here, a series of policies related to union members and workers are resolved by competent authorities, the voices of union members are closer and more authentic to all levels. Notable are the shortcomings in implementing the regime for the team of workers who are library staff in schools in the area; support policies for union members and workers working on the island...
According to statistics from 2018 to present, Nha Trang City Labor Federation has negotiated to adjust the content of the Collective Labor Agreement to be more beneficial to employees in nearly 200 units, with 79% of collective labor agreements achieving type A, over 95% of employees signed labor contracts, over 88% of employees implementing social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance regimes...
Timely support for thousands of union members in difficulty
According to Mr. Ngo Anh Duyet - Chairman of Nha Trang City Labor Federation, implementing the motto of the Trade Union at the higher level directly close to the grassroots, union members, and workers, in recent years, the City Trade Union has proactively coordinated with the government and business owners to care for the interests of union members.
During the 2018-2023 term, the City Labor Federation visited and presented over 4,000 gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances with a budget of more than 8 billion VND.
In 2021, when the COVID-19 epidemic became complicated, the City Labor Federation promptly supported more than 1,000 union members affected with an amount of more than 1.6 billion VND. From 2023 to present, the City Labor Federation has also presented more than 6,000 gifts to support union members in difficulty, serious illnesses... In particular, the "Union Tet Market" program implemented from 2024-2025 is highly appreciated by union members.
To better care for the material and spiritual lives of union members and workers, every year the City Labor Federation maintains the organization of visits and gifts for units on duty during Tet and encourages workers working at garbage collection points in the area on New Year's Eve.
The union member welfare program has been effectively implemented by the City Labor Federation to the grassroots. Up to now, the Standing Committee of Nha Trang City Labor Federation has signed a cooperation agreement with 5 enterprises to implement a welfare program for union members and workers, with many practical contents.
