Mr. Do Van Chien emphasized that 2025 has many major holidays, the year of organizing Party Congresses at all levels, towards the 14th National Party Congress, bringing the country into the era of national growth.
In that context, the Trade Union needs to take advantage of the nature of the working class, the intelligence, enthusiasm, and patriotism of the working class to contribute ideas to Party documents, especially issues related to policies and regimes, and taking care of workers' lives.
Along with that, the Trade Union organization needs to focus on developing union members and establishing grassroots unions to gather a large number of people.
Besides, Trade Unions at all levels need to actively and proactively participate in the revolution of streamlining the apparatus, reducing the payroll, making the political system leaner, more compact, and stronger...
The trade union also needs to promote responsibility, improve the quality of supervision and social criticism work according to Directive 18 of the Secretariat; collect and synthesize opinions and recommendations of voters and people...

Mr. Nguyen Dinh Khang, member of the Party Central Committee, President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, accepted the opinions of Mr. Do Van Chien.
Mr. Nguyen Dinh Khang affirmed that the Trade Union organization will be determined and actively participate in the revolution of streamlining the apparatus; and do a good job of supervision and social criticism. The recently passed Trade Union Law (amended) also stipulates this content in Articles 16 and 17.
