Warmth of sharing
Despite the cold of 8 degrees Celsius in Son La, the program "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Ung Dang" organized by the Son La Provincial Labor Federation in Moc Chau district last weekend night warmed every union official, union member, and worker.
At the program, 100 Tet gifts worth 100 million VND and nearly 50 charity tickets were given to union members and workers returning home for Tet.
“Tet Sum Vay - Spring of Thanks to the Party” 2025 is the first year that Ms. Le Thi Hue - a worker at Moc Chau Tuynel Brick Factory, was able to attend the program and receive gifts from the Son La Provincial Labor Federation.
“Although my family life is still difficult, the Union at all levels has promptly cared for and encouraged me, and the leaders have also created conditions for me to complete my work. And today, being able to stand here is a great honor for me. Thanks to that, I can see that workers are always cared for and looked after by the Union,” Ms. Hue confided.
According to Ms. Hue, today's gift, in addition to its material value, helping her family celebrate Tet more fully, also has spiritual value, especially for workers in difficult circumstances.
Unable to hide his emotions and excitement, Mr. Vi Van Khanh - a worker at Ta Niet Hydropower Joint Stock Company shared: "The program of the Provincial Federation of Labor has created conditions and helped us union members and workers to have meaningful gifts for the Lunar New Year. In the new year, I will try to work hard in the company and try to become an excellent union member."
According to Mr. Khanh, the gift is small but brings warmth to all the workers and their families. When asked about his wishes for this new year, he only hopes to have good health to continue doing a good job and have a stable income to support his family.
Not only Ms. Hue or Mr. Khanh, many other union members and workers also felt the warmth and care from the Union. Besides the material gifts, there was great encouragement and spiritual support. For them, the Union's encouragement and care for union members and workers in difficulty, especially during Tet, is a source of encouragement, motivating them to work hard, overcome difficulties, and feel secure in their work.

Mr. Vang A La - Chairman of the Son La Provincial Labor Federation - said that in 2024, trade unions at all levels in the province organized many practical and meaningful activities towards union members and workers in difficult circumstances.
Especially on the occasion of the Lunar New Year of At Ty 2025, in order to take care of and practically support the material and spiritual life of union members and workers, and with the wish that all union members and workers have a Tet, welcome a warm and affectionate Spring, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor has focused resources to take care of and support Tet gifts for over 5,600 union members and workers in difficult circumstances; visit and give gifts to units on duty during Tet, difficult communes assigned by the Provincial Federation of Labor to help... with a total amount of over 3 billion VND; deploy the online program "2025 Trade Union Tet Market" for nearly 2,500 union members and workers with a total amount of over 1.2 billion VND.
“Through caring and supporting activities, union members and employees can trust and be closely attached to the Trade Union organization. From there, it creates motivation and encouragement for union members and employees to work more productively, with higher quality and efficiency, and become increasingly attached to the enterprise,” Mr. Vang A La emphasized.
