In 2024, due to the impact of the circulation of storm No. 3, it caused severe damage to people in Yen Bai province.
More than 900 families of union members, civil servants, public employees and workers in Yen Bai province have suffered damage to their homes and property.
Of these, 8 families had their houses completely collapsed, 135 families had their houses damaged, and over 800 families suffered property damage.
On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025, the Vietnam Civil Servants' Trade Union, the Provincial Labor Confederation and the Yen Bai Provincial Civil Servants' Trade Union presented 285 gifts to union members affected by natural disasters, storms and floods, suffering from serious illnesses, and families in difficult circumstances with a total value of over 440 million VND.
On this occasion, the Yen Bai Provincial Labor Federation also awarded 40 million VND in support to build "Union Shelter" houses for union members with difficult housing circumstances.
This is a meaningful and practical activity that demonstrates the concern of all levels of the Trade Union in taking care of the material and spiritual life of union members, civil servants and employees on the occasion of Tet. Thereby, it creates peace of mind and encouragement for union members, civil servants and employees to have more confidence, work hard, and join hands with the unit to excellently complete the assigned tasks and plans.
