Mr. Nguyen Van Dong - Permanent Vice President of Vietnam Civil Servants' Trade Union said - with the motto "All union members and workers have Tet", Vietnam Civil Servants' Trade Union at all levels organizes a series of activities to practically care for union members and workers in terms of material and spiritual aspects on the occasion of the Lunar New Year of At Ty.
Affirming the role and responsibility of the Trade Union in taking care of members and employees during Tet; motivating and encouraging members and employees to work with a high sense of responsibility and efficiency, improving labor productivity, product quality, uniting to build agencies, units and enterprises to develop more and more; strengthening the trust and connection between members and employees and the Trade Union; attracting employees to join the Vietnam Trade Union.
The Vietnam Civil Servants' Trade Union also requires trade unions at all levels to flexibly and diversely organize forms of care suitable to the needs and aspirations of union members and employees and the actual situation at agencies, units and enterprises; Care activities must ensure practicality, safety, efficiency, economy, compliance with regulations, creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere among union members and employees, with the following key activities:
Organize the program "Tet Sum Vay - Spring Gratitude to the Party", focusing on the direct superior level and the grassroots level in accordance with the actual situation, ensuring safety, savings, efficiency, attracting many union members and workers to participate.
Organize activities to visit, give gifts, and wish New Year to union members and employees on the occasion of Lunar New Year 2025, especially union members and employees who are still in difficulty, have low income, suffer from serious illnesses, occupational diseases, have work accidents, are underemployed, have lost their jobs, and are owed wages and bonuses.
Vietnam Civil Servants' Trade Union organized visits and gave gifts directly to union members and workers in especially difficult circumstances and with serious illnesses.
Affiliated trade unions consult with Party committees and professional leaders at the same level to visit, celebrate Tet, and give gifts to union members and workers at agencies, units, and enterprises.
The grassroots trade union proactively organizes or proposes and coordinates with employers to give gifts to union members and employees of the enterprise or unit.
The direct superior trade union and the grassroots trade union, based on the actual situation of the union members and employees staying at the agency or unit, organize warm and joyful Tet celebration activities bearing the Trade Union's mark.
The Vietnam Civil Servants' Trade Union requires the Executive Committees of trade unions at all levels to regularly and promptly grasp the thoughts and aspirations of union members and employees. Propaganda and mobilize union members and employees to celebrate Tet and enjoy Spring in a frugal and safe manner, comply with legal regulations and return to work on time as prescribed;
Actively participate with competent authorities to grasp the situation, inspect and supervise employers in paying salaries and bonuses to employees during Tet; promptly detect and have solutions to ensure the rights of employees in enterprises facing difficulties, unpaid salaries, and unable to pay bonuses.
Strengthen dialogue and negotiation activities with employers on production plans, salary payment, and Tet bonus payment; take care of the material and spiritual life of union members and employees during Tet; Strengthen the socialization of resources to take care of union members and employees, mobilize organizations, individuals, and enterprises to accompany and support resources for the Trade Union to carry out activities to take care of union members and employees during Tet.
