On November 8, a delegation of the Vietnam Civil Servants' Trade Union led by Comrade Nguyen Van Dong, member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Civil Servants' Trade Union, visited, worked and presented financial support for the construction of "Union Shelter" houses for union members in difficult circumstances in Hoa Binh province.
Receiving and working with the delegation were comrade Nguyen Manh Cuong, member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Chairman of the Hoa Binh Provincial Federation of Labor and Standing members and members of the Provincial Federation of Labor Standing Committee.
Speaking at the meeting, the leaders of the Vietnam Civil Servants' Trade Union and the Hoa Binh Provincial Federation of Labor highly appreciated the results of the Work Coordination Program for the period 2021 - 2024. At the same time, they suggested that in the coming time, the two sides should strengthen coordination in training and fostering trade union officials; regularly organize exchange and experience learning programs; promote the care and financial support for building "Union Shelters" for union members and workers...
On this occasion, the delegation of the Vietnam Civil Servants' Trade Union presented 180 million VND to support 3 families of union members in especially difficult circumstances, without housing due to the impact of storm No. 3, to build "Union Shelter" houses. The support level is 60 million VND/house, from the mobilized funds of the Ho Chi Minh City Civil Servants' Trade Union and Samsung Electronics HCMC CE Complex Co., Ltd.
On the same day, the delegation visited, encouraged and presented gifts to Duong Nguyen Tien Dat, the son of a worker couple who died in a landslide and is currently ill and being treated at Hoa Binh Provincial General Hospital.
