More than 200 workers stick to the construction site
Thai Binh General Hospital is built on a campus of more than 12ha, with a scale of 1,200 beds, planned to expand to 1,500 beds. The hospital is designed according to the "green - smart hospital" model, with green trees and landscape.
The overall scale includes: functional building blocks, auxiliary items, shared technical infrastructure, medical equipment system and modern technology.

According to reporters of Lao Dong Newspaper, on hot sunny days, at the project construction site, the construction atmosphere is still urgent, hundreds of workers and machinery and equipment are being mobilized to continuously construct to ensure the progress of the province's key project.
In many areas, workers are divided into groups to perform tasks such as tying steel, pouring concrete, installing formwork and operating machinery. The sound of cutting machines and concrete mixers harmonizes with the busy pace of work, creating a vibrant working atmosphere on the large construction site.


Mr. Nguyen Van Hoa (from Dien Bien) - a steel construction worker at the construction site - shared: "On hot sunny days, working is quite hard, our clothes are always soaked in sweat, but we still try to stick to the construction site to keep up with the set schedule. These days, we work earlier in the morning to get an early break, and in the afternoon we will work later and take advantage of resting to rest.
In addition, to ensure the health of workers, the construction unit arranges flexible working hours, increases drinking water, protective gear and allows workers to take breaks during hot weather.
Ensure project progress
Mr. Nguyen Truong Thinh - Head of Project Management Department 2, Construction Investment Project Management Board No. 2 of Hung Yen province - said that the Thai Binh General Hospital project is currently being implemented simultaneously in many items to ensure progress according to the set plan. Despite prolonged hot weather, the contractors still maintain a force of about 200 workers and many machines and equipment continuously constructing on the construction site.
To effectively adapt to harsh weather conditions, teams have been arranged to work shifts flexibly, increase rest time at noon and minimize construction during peak hot hours.


According to the Construction Investment Project Management Board No. 2 of Hung Yen province, after completion, Thai Binh General Hospital is oriented to become a special-class provincial general hospital. This project will make an important contribution to solving the overload situation at existing medical facilities, and at the same time complete the health care network according to the development plan of Hung Yen province for the period 2021 - 2030, vision 2050.
