Workers go to work far away because of high salaries and good policies

Many workers have not hesitated to work far away, even renting a room near their company because their income and benefits are much better than those of companies near their homes.

Mr. Tran Nguyen (30 years old) - a model garment and diagram worker in Nam Dinh shared that he accepts to work more than 16km away from home. What he received in return made the male worker feel extremely worthy.

At the new company, I was paid a salary of 2 million VND/month higher than most companies near my home. The treatment regimes are quite comprehensive, competitive, and holiday bonuses are always at least 200,000 VND higher than the general level" - Mr. Nguyen said.

The male worker said that many companies near the unit price in the stages are quite low, not increasing over time. In the new place, the unit price is relatively high, new products are always given priority to double or even double the coefficient to help ensure better salary.

At his current workplace, according to Mr. Nguyen, the manager also highly appreciates his ability. Not only supplying codes with simple steps and good prices, it also creates conditions for him to learn and do other jobs to increase his income.

The working time of the male worker at the new workplace is much more beneficial than the companies near his house have researched.

"Currently, I can leave early at 5:30 p.m., working overtime until 6 p.m. Although I went far, I returned home at around 6:30 p.m. At this time, workers of companies near their homes are starting to leave" - Mr. Nguyen said.

The male worker said that with the advantages of working away from home at a company, he never thought about quitting his job. Mr. Nguyen still works full-time despite the long journey, even introducing other workers to work with him.

Mr. Nguyen Van Thang (34 years old) - an electronic components manufacturer in Nam Dinh said that he works in a city 30km from home to receive a salary of more than 3 million VND.

For a company near my home, my highest salary is 8.5 million VND/hour of work, including food. At the current company, I work 10 hours a day, and at the end of the month, I earn an average of 11.5 million VND, and I don't lose money on food because the company supports me" - Mr. Thang said.

Sharing details about income, Mr. Thang said that the basic salary at the current company is 5.6 million VND/month while the old company is only 4.3 million VND. When working overtime, they also receive additional support money. According to Mr. Thang, the fuel, diligence, and profit regime for achieving output is also about 1.5 times higher than that of companies near his home.

The male worker shared that working over time, the most important thing is the basic salary. A high basic salary means an increase in income. The high basic salary also helps Mr. Thang feel secure about his pension in the future.

"I have withdrawn social insurance once, so now I go back to work, just hoping to pay a really high insurance. In the immediate future, I am assured about sick leave, holidays, and Tet, and in the long term, I am assured of receiving unemployment or pension" - Mr. Thang said.

Currently, Mr. Thang is renting a room near the company. The room fee is 800,000 VND but is also supported by the company at 100%, and the two lunches and evenings are all eaten at the company, so their salary is not affected.

The amount of money Mr. Thang spends monthly is only about 500,000 VND for electricity, water, breakfast, and daily necessities.

Sharing about the upcoming plan, the male worker said he will still stick with the company to accumulate enough desired capital. If the company had a car to pick up and drop off workers from far away as planned, Mr. Thang would definitely stay with the company for a long time.
