Overtime when the weather is favorable
According to Lao Dong, in early December, the atmosphere at the construction sites of the project to build 3 traffic bridges in An Phu commune (My Duc, Hanoi): Phu Thanh, Thoang, Dong Gach is extremely urgent and exciting.
Workers and machines were mobilized to work hard to complete the project on schedule. Mr. Ba Thang, a worker who was working hard, shared that the weather had started to turn cold over the past week, but he always focused on working early and coming home late so that the project could be completed on schedule.
“We, the workers, are making every effort to complete the rural traffic bridge and put it into use before the 2025 Lunar New Year. This will make it easier for people to travel,” said Mr. Thang.
Mr. Van Nam - a worker at the construction site said that during the construction period, the project to build 3 traffic bridges in An Phu commune had to temporarily stop working many times due to the impact of floods and unfavorable weather.
"When the weather is favorable, our construction workers quickly return to work, working overtime and increasing working hours to avoid delays in the project's progress," Mr. Nam added.
Technical traffic opening before Lunar New Year 2025
Speaking with Lao Dong, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Huong - Acting Director of the Construction Investment Project Management Board of My Duc district (Hanoi) said that the project started construction in early 2022, with a total investment of over 39 billion VND.
"The Project Management Board is focusing on directing the construction team to work overtime to complete the work items soon and put them into use to serve the people before the Lunar New Year 2025," Ms. Huong shared.
Mr. Nguyen Duy Phong - technical officer of Phuong Anh Service and Trading Company Limited said that currently, the three bridges Phu Thanh, Thoang, Dong Gach in An Phu commune (My Duc, Hanoi) have basically completed 90 - 95%.
According to Mr. Phong, the final items remaining are: completing the bridge deck, the approach road to the bridge and the protective railings on both sides of the bridge.
In particular, the bridge railing is an important part to ensure the safety of people when traveling across the bridge, so the construction of these items needs to be done carefully and accurately.
"The company is concentrating on machinery and workers working overtime and increasing shifts at the construction site to speed up progress to open the technical traffic before the Lunar New Year of At Ty 2025," said Mr. Phong.
The project to build 3 traffic bridges in An Phu commune (My Duc, Hanoi): Phu Thanh, Thoang, Dong Gach is a project in the 253 plan of Hanoi City with a total global width of 7m, a road width of 6m and a railing width of 2x0.5m. The total investment is over 39 billion VND.
