The patriotic emulation movement was widely organized, the content and form of emulation was innovated, closely following political tasks and practical conditions at the grassroots level, attracting a large number of cadres, union members and workers to participate, contributing to the successful implementation of the goals and tasks of the Trade Union organization and the country.
In addition to directing, guiding and mobilizing union members, workers, officials and workers to actively participate in patriotic emulation movements launched by the Prime Minister and traditional and prestigious emulation movements of trade unions, the VGCL continues to launch a number of movements and campaigns to meet the task requirements such as "innovation, creativity and efficiency in trade union activities"; "Good advice, good service" and the campaign "cadres, civil servants and officials say no to negative". The discovery, propagation, honor and replication of advanced typical examples are promoted and have many new ways. The reward work is increasingly, timely, tight, more open and transparent. Officers working in emulation and commendation have been strengthened, improved quality and professionalism.
Trade unions at all levels have proactively developed Regulations on the relationship between Trade Unions and authorities at the same level, creating favorable conditions for coordination in directing emulation movements; many enterprises have signed Collective Labor Agreements, including emulation and reward content.
One of the movements was widely implemented and left many imprints of "good labor, creative labor". From 2014 to the present, the VGCL has revised the Regulation on commendation and reward by the decision to promulgate the reward regulations of Trade Union Organization No. 1564/QD-TLD dated December 24, 2014; Decision No. 2106/QD-TLD dated December 28, 2017 and Decision No. 1689/QD-TLD dated November 12, 2019 and Decision No. 999/QD-TLD dated May 29, 2024. The Regulation on commendation has updated the new provisions of the Law on Emulation and Reward, clearly showing the priority policy for small collectives, workers, people directly production labor, remote areas, island border areas and in accordance with practical context, contributing to accurate and timely rewards.
