On the morning of September 2, Mr. Nguyen Thai Vu - Vice Chairman of the Trade Union of Hyundai Vietnam Shipbuilding Company Limited (HVS), said - On National Day September 2 this year, all officers and employees of the entire factory were awarded 500,000 VND/person by the Company. Along with the September 2 holiday bonus, employees are given 3 days off with pay according to regulations.
The National Day bonus on September 2 is part of the results of the labor agreement negotiations between the Union and the Company that have been maintained over the past time. In addition to the National Day bonus, HVS employees are also rewarded with VND 500,000/person on the Hung King's death anniversary (10th day of the third lunar month), on the occasion of April 30 - May 1 and the company's founding day (16th of October).
According to Mr. Vu, to celebrate the 79th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the HVS Trade Union has organized propaganda to each union member and employee through the Trade Union newsletter and the company's trade union's social networking platforms.
In the first 6 months of the year, the Trade Union has implemented many activities to give Tet gifts to union members with a value of 350,000 VND/gift with a total amount of over 1 billion VND; visited sick and happy cases of 271 cases with a total amount of 145 million VND, coordinated with Trade Unions at all levels to visit and support 131 union members and workers in difficult circumstances to celebrate Tet with gifts ranging from 500,000 VND to 5 million VND/gift.
The Company's Trade Union supported 351 union members with travel expenses to go home for Tet with an amount of 65 million VND, gave birthday gifts to 1,525 union members with an amount of 305 million VND; organized 6 inspections of bus and cafeteria welfare.
