Speaking at the conference, Ms. Tran Thi Thanh Ha - Member of the Presidium, Head of the Labor Relations Department of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor - said that the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor always identifies the work of ensuring safety and health for workers as the core and top priority task of the trade union organization. Promoting dialogue and collective bargaining on labor safety and hygiene is one of the breakthroughs of the Resolution of the 13th Congress of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
According to Ms. Tran Thi Thanh Ha, after nearly 1 year of implementing the Resolution of the 13th Congress of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the first year of implementing Directive 31-CT/TW dated March 19, 2024 of the Central Party Secretariat, the trade union has focused on implementing tasks such as: Making the contents of ensuring safety and health one of the contents for dialogue and negotiation, scoring collective labor agreements and classifying grassroots trade unions.
