The Labor Federation of Lien Chieu Ward, Da Nang City held the first meeting of the Ward Trade Union Executive Committee for the 2023 - 2028 term.
The conference was attended by Mr. Nguyen Thanh Trung - Member of the Standing Committee, Deputy Head of the Trade Union of Industrial Parks of the City Labor Federation; Mr. Dang Ngoc Nhan - Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Ward Party Committee - and representatives of the leaders of departments, branches, and grassroots trade unions under the Ward Trade Union and the Executive Board of the Workers' Group for self-management of the boarding house in the ward.
The conference approved the decisions of the Standing Committee of the Da Nang City Labor Federation on the establishment of the Lien Chieu Ward Trade Union, including 30 grassroots trade unions with 1,621 union members, and appointed the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and Chairman of the Lien Chieu Ward Trade Union.
At the same time, the Lien Chieu Ward Labor Union received and monitored the activities of 29 self-managed workers' groups in the boarding house area in the ward.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Dang Ngoc Nhan - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ward Party Committee - emphasized: Ward trade unions need to closely follow the security and order situation and workers' lives in industrial parks.
