On the afternoon of November 30 in Da Nang, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor held a conference to disseminate and deploy the task of promoting lifelong learning among workers and to disseminate and implement Action Program No. 02/CTr-TLD dated January 25, 2024 of the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor on "Promoting propaganda and implementing Directive No. 23-CT/TW dated May 25, 2023 of the Secretariat on strengthening the Party's leadership in ensuring traffic order and safety in the new situation".
Attending the conference were Mr. Ngo Duy Hieu, Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and Ms. Vu Thi Giang Huong, Head of the Propaganda Department of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor. Along with 100 delegates who are part-time grassroots union officials (not receiving state salary) under the Da Nang City Labor Federation.
This is an activity to implement Decision No. 1268/QD-TTg dated October 19, 2022 of the Prime Minister approving the Program "Promoting lifelong learning activities among workers in enterprises by 2030".
Within the framework of the conference, Mr. Ngo Duy Hieu, Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, presented two topics: "Why study?" and "Skills to perform the task of representing, caring for, and protecting the rights of union members and workers".
These are two topics that we hope will help grassroots union officials grasp and have the skills and methods to effectively perform the task of representing, caring for, and protecting the rights of union members and workers in union activities in the new situation.
