The Congress took place in a solemn atmosphere with 136 official delegates, representing more than 500 union members.
According to the Trade Union of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, the 2023-2025 term takes place in the context of the school promoting university autonomy, restructuring the organization and digital transformation on a large scale. The Truong Trade Union has comprehensively completed the set goals and achieved many outstanding results.
Regarding propaganda and political and ideological education, trade unions fully implement the study of resolutions and policies of the Party, State and higher-level trade unions. Propaganda activities are innovated with the application of technology, helping to spread information quickly, accurately and create consensus among civil servants and workers.
Regarding professional activities and accompanying the school, the trade union organized many professional seminars, supporting lecturers to improve their teaching and research capacity. Programs on digital transformation and AI application have been strongly implemented, demonstrating the rapid adaptation capacity and innovative spirit of the trade union team.
The union has implemented many activities for female civil servants such as talkshow, talks, and skills training programs, attracting a large number of participants and creating a positive spread throughout the school. The union actively participates in community programs such as visiting war invalids, supporting disaster areas, giving gifts to students in disadvantaged areas, etc.
Speaking at the Congress, Comrade Nguyen Thi Thao - President of the Hanoi National University Trade Union acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities Trade Union in the recent term. He emphasized that the School's Trade Union has affirmed its strong capacity in areas that seem to be not the strength of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, especially technology, digital transformation and the application of AI in trade union and professional activities. This is a clear demonstration of the spirit of innovation, dynamism, creativity and professionalism of the union staff and officials of the School.
The Congress conducted the election of the Executive Committee of the Trade Union for the 21st tenure, consisting of 11 comrades, electing 11 official delegates and 1 delegate in absentia to attend the Hanoi National University Trade Union Congress and unanimously approved the Draft Resolution of the Congress.
