On December 2, the Trade Union of the Project Management Board (PMB) for Investment and Construction of Civil and Industrial Works of Can Tho City successfully organized the Congress, term 2025-2030.
During the past term, the employment and living conditions of 100% of union members were guaranteed to be stable. The union organized timely visits and encouragement for sick union members or families with meritorious services or difficulties, with a total support amount of over 90 million VND.
Every year, the Executive Committee (EC) presents 39 gifts, with an amount of 78 million VND on the occasion of April 30 and May 1, to civil servants and employees (VC-NLD) in the agency; organizes periodic health check-ups for VC-NLD with a support level of 1.5 - 2 million VND/year; Lunar New Year support for each union member 1 gift.
The union also organizes and launches emulation movements that are always associated with the implementation of the unit's tasks, focusing on "Good workers, creative workers". At the same time, the unit deploys VC-NLD to register topics, initiatives, technical improvements, and work solutions, promote practical application and application of information technology to solve work effectively and promptly.
Speaking at the congress, Ms. Tran Ngoc My - Vice President of the Can Tho City Labor Federation, Chief of Office of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the City - acknowledged and highly appreciated the solidarity, determination of the Executive Committee and the active participation of the collective of union members, VC-NLDCS to achieve many outstanding results.
In the new term, the Vice President of the Can Tho City Labor Federation proposed that the Executive Committee of the grassroots trade union continue to innovate the method of trade union activities, focusing on the grassroots, associated with professional tasks and administrative reform, digital transformation in construction investment management; Improve the capacity of trade union cadres, cadres, VC-NLD, meet the requirements of building a clean and strong agency; Implement well the grassroots democracy regulations, care for the material and spiritual life of union members; continue to promote women's work, participate in social and volunteer programs.
The Executive Committee of the Trade Union of the Can Tho City Civil and Industrial Construction Investment Project Management Board was appointed, consisting of 11 comrades, Mr. Tran Van Qui as Chairman of the Trade Union, term 2025-2030.
