On November 2, the Ho Vuong Commune Trade Union (Thanh Hoa Province) solemnly held the 1st Congress, term 2025 - 2030.
Attending and directing the Congress were comrade Le Khac Binh - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor, Deputy Head of the Trade Union Work Committee; comrades in the Steering Committee of the Provincial Trade Union Congress.
On the local side, there were comrade Han Duy Dieu - Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of the People's Council of Ho Vuong Commune, along with leaders of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune and 120 delegates representing 2,373 union members working at 15 grassroots unions in 5 communes: Nga Thang, Nga Binh, Ho Vuong, Nga An and Tan Tien.
In her opening speech, Comrade Trinh Thi Giang - Chairwoman of the Ho Vuong Commune Trade Union said that since its establishment (July 1, 2025), the Commune Trade Union has quickly perfected its apparatus, stabilized its organization and effectively promoted its role as a representative, caretaker, and protector of the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers.
In recent times, the Commune Trade Union has promoted propaganda, education, and organized training courses on labor law, occupational safety and hygiene, dialogue skills, and women's work. Emulation movements such as "Good workers, creative workers", "Green - Clean - Beautiful, ensuring labor safety", "Good at public work, good at home work" were widely implemented, attracting a large number of union members to participate.
Speaking at the Congress, Comrade Le Khac Binh praised the initial results of the Ho Vuong Commune Trade Union in quickly stabilizing the organization, innovating the methods of operation, and focusing on the grassroots.
He suggested that the Executive Committee of the First Commune Trade Union continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, creativity, and proactive coordination with Party committees and authorities to effectively implement emulation movements, contributing to local socio-economic development.
At the Congress, the Executive Committee and the Inspection Committee of the Ho Vuong Commune Trade Union, term I, 2025 - 2030, were introduced. Comrade Trinh Thi Giang was appointed to hold the position of Chairman of the Ho Vuong Commune Trade Union.
Entering the new term, the Ho Vuong Commune Trade Union has identified the motto of action "Innovation - Democracy - Discipline - Creativity - Development", striving to become a bright spot in the movement of workers, civil servants and laborers in Thanh Hoa province, contributing to building Ho Vuong commune to meet new rural standards before 2030.
