Expected regional minimum wage increases in communes and wards of Bac Ninh province from January 1, 2026

Communes and wards of Bac Ninh province are expected to receive a regional minimum wage increase from January 1, 2026 if the Decree on increasing regional minimum wages is issued.

Currently, the regional minimum wage is stipulated in Decree 74/2024/ND-CP.

Accordingly, the minimum wage in region II is 4,410,000 VND/month; 21,200 VND/hour; region III is 3,860,000 VND/month; 18,600 VND/hour; region IV is 3,450,000 VND/month; 16,600 VND/hour.

The Ministry of Home Affairs is drafting a Decree regulating the minimum wage for employees working under labor contracts, expected to take effect from January 1, 2026.

In the draft Decree, the minimum wage (LTT) of region I increased from 4.96 million VND/month to 5.31 million VND/month (increased by 350,000 VND); region II increased from 4.41 million VND/month to 4.73 million VND/month (increased by 320,000 VND); region III increased from 3.86 million VND/month to 4.14 million VND/month (increased by 280,000 VND); region IV increased from 3.45 million VND/month to 3.7 million VND/month (increased by 250,000 VND).

If the above Decree officially takes effect, and at the same time, based on the appendix in Decree No. 128/2025/ND-CP, the regional minimum wage in Bac Ninh from January 1, 2026 is expected to change as follows:

Chu, Phuong Son wards and the communes of Dai Son, Son Dong, Tay Yen Tu, Duong Huu, Yen Dinh, An Lac, Van Son, Bien Dong, Luc Ngan, Deo Gia, Son Hai, Tan Son, Bien Son, Sa Ly, Nam Duong, Kien Lao, Luc Son, Truong Son, Cam Ly, Dong Phu, Nghia Phuong, Luc Nam, Bac Lung, Bao Dai, Yen The, Bo Ha, Dong Ky, Xuan Luong, Tam Tien, Tuan Dao (applying regional minimum wage IV), increased from 3.45 million VND/month to 3.7 million VND/month.

The communes of Lang Giang, My Thai, Kep, Tan Dinh, Tien Luc, Tan Yen, Ngoc Thien, Nha Nam, Phuc Hoa, Quang Trung, Hop Thinh, Hiep Hoa, Hoang Van, Xuan Cam apply the regional minimum wage III, increasing from 3.86 million VND/month to 4.14 million VND/month

The remaining communes and wards (applying the regional minimum wage II) increased from VND 4.41 million/month to VND 4.73 million/month.
