Nearly 1,000 Formosa Ha Tinh workers donate blood

    Ha Tinh - To celebrate the 96th anniversary of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, nearly 1,000 union members and workers of Formosa Ha Tinh participated in blood donation.

    On July 19, the Ha Tinh Provincial Labor Federation said that on the same day, the Trade Union of Formosa Ha Tinh Industrial Steel Corporation Limited in coordination with the Provincial Red Cross Society and the Department of Hematology and Blood Transfusion of Ha Tinh General Hospital organized a humanitarian blood donation program, attracting nearly 1,000 union members and workers to participate.

    The program is part of a series of practical activities to celebrate the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2025), and at the same time respond to "All-people Voluntary Blood Donation Day" in 2025.

    With the spirit of "iving each drop of blood, a life stays", the activity not only demonstrates the social responsibility of Formosa Ha Tinh workers but also contributes to spreading noble gestures in the community.
