Bold with the motto "happiness right at home"
“In addition to strengthening the work of creating bridges for many workers to find jobs with stable income... from 2024, we will innovate propaganda work in the direction of making workers understand and voluntarily participate in the job chain in Dong Thap”, Mr. Nguyen Phu Hieu - Director of the Center for Employment Services - shared.

While many localities are accelerating to “reach far and fly high”, Dong Thap is promoting “we go home, we bathe in our own pond”, is this a regressive idea? “It is not regressive, but we are concretizing the province’s policy towards sustainable acceleration” – Mr. Hieu answered very confidently.
According to Mr. Hieu, the issue of labor and employment in Dong Thap is in a state of local surplus and shortage. While some industries and occupations such as food processing, foodstuffs, and seafood have a need to recruit large numbers of workers, but are difficult to recruit, on the contrary, many untrained workers go to work outside the province and after a difficult time adapting, return to Dong Thap to apply for fairly high unemployment benefits, but find it difficult to find jobs.
There are many reasons leading to this paradox, such as: Workers have the mentality of wanting to work outside the province... but basically it is due to the lack of communication between supply and demand, especially in terms of information.
Innovation and diversification of propaganda
To resolve this supply-demand paradox, in addition to strengthening surveys and understanding the needs from both sides: employees and employers, such as: distributing employee wishes survey forms... meeting with companies and enterprises to record specific recruitment needs in terms of quantity, quality and timing... TTDVVLĐT also proactively organizes Job Transaction sessions in industrial parks and clusters... so that companies, enterprises and employees can clearly understand each other's needs.
More specifically, TTDVVLĐT also focuses on innovating and diversifying propaganda work so that both sides can understand and easily find a common voice. Accordingly, in addition to applying social networking platforms to enhance job counseling activities for employees through Website, Facebook, Zalo, Fanpage, or promoting coordination with People's Committees of communes, wards, towns, vocational schools... to propagate preferential policies for employees when registering to work in the province...

The most prominent is the expansion of coordination with the media agencies in the province and the industry to disseminate information in an analytical manner for workers to understand and voluntarily work on-site. In which, the focus is on making workers fully understand the economic factors: being close to family, saving on rent, etc.
Thanks to the application of new solutions, the number of workers participating in work in the province has increased sharply. Since the beginning of the year, the Center for Employment Services has created jobs for 4,682 workers, of which 95.9% work in the province. This not only helps workers easily find happiness in life right at home, but also contributes positively to the supply of quality labor for the Red Lotus Land to attract investment, improve the provincial competitiveness index... as the policy set forth by the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee of Dong Thap province.
