The Saigon Water Corporation - LLC Trade Union has just held a conference to announce decisions to downgrade, dissolve, and establish trade union organizations under the Corporation's Trade Union.
Accordingly, the Saigon Water Corporation - LLC Trade Union has decided to downgrade, dissolve, and establish grassroots trade unions under the Corporation's Trade Union into 11 member grassroots trade unions, 5 departmental trade unions, and 13 trade union groups from July 1, 2025.
In addition, the Saigon Water Corporation - LLC Trade Union has proposed transferring to the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation to focus on managing 3 grassroots unions under the management of enterprises with uncontrolled State capital (under 50%) and no corresponding Party organizations (due to the Party organizations in the above units being dissolved according to the arrangement plan of the Corporation's Party Committee).
On this occasion, the Saigon Water Corporation - LLC Trade Union also presented flowers and gifts to thank the Executive Committees of grassroots trade unions for receiving the decision to dissolve and transfer to the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation, with the meaning of recognizing and appreciating the efforts, sense of responsibility and enthusiasm of the members of the Executive Committees of the units over the past time, contributing to building the Corporation's Trade Union organization to become increasingly strong.
Previously, on June 27, 2025, the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation issued Decision No. 1610/QD-LDLD on the downgradation of the Saigon Water Corporation - LLC Trade Union from the grassroots trade union to the grassroots trade union from July 1, 2025.
