The supported member is Ms. Đỗ Thị Phượng – a worker at Aurora Vietnam Footwear Industry Co., Ltd., residing in Thủy Đường commune, Thủy Nguyên district. Ms. Phượng is the breadwinner of the family as her husband suffers from muscle atrophy, and her eldest child has a brain hemorrhage and cannot take care of themselves. For many years, her family has lived in a severely deteriorated level 4 house.
The second case is Ms. Hoàng Lệ Mỹ, a teacher at Đại Đồng Secondary School (Đông Phương commune, Kiến Thụy district), currently residing in Hưng Đạo ward, Dương Kinh district. Ms. Mỹ's husband passed away in an accident in 2023, and she is solely responsible for taking care of her elderly and ill parents and two school-aged children.
At the families' homes, representatives of the Hải Phòng City Labor Federation presented financial support of 50 million VND. Representatives from higher-level unions and grassroots unions also provided practical gifts to help the members' families overcome difficulties and settle down to establish their livelihoods.
