On the afternoon of July 22, the Ha Tinh Provincial Federation of Labor (LDLD) said that on the occasion of the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2025), the Provincial Federation of Labor organized the handover of funds to support the renovation and repair of "Union Shelter" houses in the third phase of 2025 to 24 union members in difficult circumstances.
The total amount of money taken from the Provincial Trade Union Social Fund in this period is 640 million VND. Each union member is supported with 20 to 40 million VND, depending on the level of difficulty and the need for repair or new construction.
The handover ceremony was held at the locality where the union members live, with the participation of representatives of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, the Provincial Federation of Labor, local authorities and grassroots trade unions.
At each handover point, the working groups not only presented funds but also encouraged, shared, and demonstrated the spirit of "the healthy leaves cover the torn leaves", contributing to helping union members stabilize their lives and work with peace of mind.
This is a meaningful activity, continuing a series of activities to care for the lives and welfare of union members and workers, demonstrating the role and responsibility of the trade union organization in accompanying and sharing with workers in difficult circumstances.
