Support for workers in Ninh Binh affected by storm No. 3

Ninh Binh - On the afternoon of October 14, the Ninh Binh Provincial Federation of Labor presented 100 gifts to support union members and workers in the province affected by the recent storm No. 3.

In early September, many northern provinces were severely affected by storm No. 3 (Yagi). Although Ninh Binh province was not directly affected by Yagi, it was also affected by the floods after the storm, with thousands of households in Nho Quan and Gia Vien districts deeply submerged in water.

The floods have caused great damage to property and crops for the people. Hundreds of workers at units and enterprises in Nho Quan and Gia Vien districts had to take many days off because of traffic disruption. This has significantly affected the lives, income and jobs of workers.

In order to promptly care for and encourage workers facing difficulties due to the impact of natural disasters, storms, floods, and unemployment, the Ninh Binh Provincial Labor Federation has provided 100 gifts, each worth 1 million VND, to support union members and workers affected by floods caused by storm No. 3.
