As early as 7:30 a.m., the volunteers were fully present at the Multi-purpose House of Quang Ha Town Primary School, Hai Ha District to register to donate blood.
Thanks to the enthusiastic work of the medical team and the high sense of responsibility of blood donors, the Organizing Committee received 397 units of blood, exceeding the set target by 112% (355 units of blood).
As a member of the Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation, the Hai Ha District Labor Federation has actively promoted and mobilized workers in the area.
Mr. Bach Tung Lam - Vice Chairman of the Hai Ha District Labor Federation - said: "As soon as we received the plan from the District Voluntary Blood Donation Steering Committee, we launched a movement to all grassroots unions in the Hai Ha Seaport Industrial Park. As a result, 250 workers and laborers in this industrial park participated in blood donation, exceeding the assigned target by 263% (95 participants)."
"In particular, among the blood donors, there are many directors, union chairmen and workers who have donated blood more than 10 times. In addition, the District Labor Federation also received 20 freelance workers to register to donate blood" - Mr. Lam said.
At the blood donation festival, the program's Organizing Committee commended collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the voluntary blood donation movement. In which, the Hai Ha District Labor Federation, Hoa Loi Dat Garment Company Limited and 2 workers who donated blood more than 10 times were honored.
With this result, the Hai Ha District Labor Federation continues to affirm its pioneering role in the voluntary blood donation movement in Quang Ninh, contributing to spreading the spirit of humanity in the community.
