In order to practically celebrate the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025) and the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2025), the Standing Committee of the Hung Yen Provincial Labor Federation has just issued guidelines for organizing the "Union Meal" program in 2025.
The activity is implemented in the spirit of Instruction No. 02/HD-TLD dated July 4, 2025 of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, to create a space for sharing and connection between workers, trade unions and employers.
Union Meal is not only a collective meal but also an opportunity for workers and unit leaders to chat, share thoughts, build a relationship of understanding and empathy. This is a practical activity that contributes to strengthening the trust of union members and workers in the Trade Union organization, spreading the spirit of solidarity and a positive corporate culture.
The program is also identified as a communication highlight, towards the celebration of the August Revolution (August 19), National Day September 2 and the Vietnam Trade Union Day July 28, to attract, develop union members and build a strong Trade Union organization.
The program will be held from July 20 to September 2, focusing on the peak week of the Trade Union Day (July 28) and National Day (September 2). Depending on actual conditions, the grassroots Trade Union in Hung Yen can coordinate with employers to organize meals at the dining table, canteen or suitable space, combined with exchange activities, performances, and intimate conversations.
Through the program, the Hung Yen Provincial Trade Union also continues to promote the care for the material and spiritual lives of union members, aiming to build sustainable welfare programs, enhancing long-term attachment between workers and enterprises and the Trade Union organization.
