Over the past time, a series of severe labor accidents have occurred on the territory of Lào Cai Province, resulting in the deaths and injuries of many people, including: The accident at the Dong Sin Mine Branch, which killed one person and injured one person on June 15; and the labor accident that occurred at the construction site of the phosphorus slag crushing factory, Lao Kay Joint Stock Production and Trade Company (Tằng Loỏng Industrial Park), Bảo Thắng District, which killed three people and injured three people on August 2.

Therefore, in order to minimize labor accidents, the People's Committee of Lào Cai Province has requested that the departments, agencies, and sectors continue to strengthen labor safety and hygiene work, prevent labor accidents on the territory of the province, and guide and inspect the implementation of laws and regulations on labor safety and hygiene for units, enterprises, and construction sites.
At the same time, the committee has instructed and inspected the implementation of laws and regulations on labor safety and hygiene for units, enterprises, and construction sites, with a focus on inspecting construction sites under construction.

In addition, enterprises, investors, contractors, and production and business establishments on the territory of the province are required to take proactive measures to prevent and minimize labor accidents, improve working conditions and labor environments.

At the same time, they should strengthen coordination and clearly define the responsibilities of leaders and relevant units and individuals in labor safety and hygiene work.
