Conference to get opinions on the draft Law on Trade Unions (amended) in the Southern region organized by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor in Ho Chi Minh City on the morning of August 13, chaired by Vice Chairman of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Phan Van Anh with the participation of nearly 80 union officials from southern provinces and cities and the Vietnam Rubber Union.
At the conference, Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Phan Van Anh informed about the drafting process and comments from the National Assembly Standing Committee, National Assembly delegates, agencies and departments, Trade union officials at all levels and received from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor regarding the draft Law on Trade Unions (amended).
Accordingly, the comments contributed to the regulations in the draft Law on Trade Unions (amended) are aimed at the goal that when the draft law is passed by the National Assembly, it will help make the activities of trade unions stronger and more effective. More effectively, attracting and gathering more and more workers to join the Vietnam Trade Union, the Vietnam Trade Union is also becoming stronger and stronger to meet the requirements in the spirit of Resolution No. 02-NQ/TW , June 12, 2021 of the Politburo "On innovating the organization and operations of Vietnam Trade Unions in the new situation".
Delegates also listened to Deputy Head of the Policy and Law Department of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Le Dinh Quang explain in detail a number of articles in the draft that still have different opinions. At the same time, contribute comments to the regulations in the draft with the desire to develop the (amended) Trade Union Law in accordance with the reality of trade union activities at all levels.
