According to the representative of the Propaganda Department of the Women's Union of Hai Phong City Labor Federation, on the occasion of the Mid-Autumn Festival 2024, due to the impact of storm No. 3, many units and businesses are still having to overcome the consequences and damage caused by the storm, so they cannot organize recreational activities for children of employees.
With the wish that children of employees will have a joyful and warm Mid-Autumn Festival, the Hai Phong City Labor Federation has donated 5,000 gifts, each worth 500,000 VND to employees' children. The recipients are the biological or legally adopted children of union members and employees (under 15 years old) in difficult circumstances at agencies, units and enterprises in the city; some units of kindergartens and schools; children of union members, workers and laborers currently staying in boarding houses in the city.
On September 12 and 13, the Hai Phong City Labor Federation presented 200 gifts to children of workers in Vinh Bao district; 600 gifts to children of workers in difficult circumstances in the Industry and Trade sector... The Hai Phong Industry and Trade Union presented 150 gifts to children of workers with disabilities and serious illnesses with a total value of 30 million VND; presented gifts to children of workers with high achievements and overcoming difficulties to study well in the 2023-2024 school year with a total reward cost of 95 million VND.
The Hai Phong Economic Zone Trade Union also gave 350 gifts to children of workers with serious illnesses and 1,500 gifts (from the City Labor Federation) to children of workers in difficult circumstances.
