In 2024, the Trade Union at all levels organized the admission of 6,885 new members, established 23 new grassroots trade unions, bringing the total number of union members to 66,887 at 1,069 grassroots trade unions in the whole province.
Trade Unions at all levels regularly grasp the living and working conditions of union members and workers. Coordinated the organization of 17 classes to disseminate the law to 1,580 participants, and provided legal advice to over 6,000 union members and workers.
On the occasion of the Lunar New Year of Giap Thin 2024, trade unions at all levels organized the program "Tet Sum Vay - Spring Sharing", visiting union members and employees with a total amount of 30.7 billion VND. Social activities, welfare care, support for union members and employees in difficult circumstances, occupational accidents and diseases were maintained. In 2024, trade unions at all levels organized gift giving to 15,725 employees with a total amount of over 6.06 billion VND. Mobilized 9.5 billion VND to support employees and people who suffered heavy losses due to storm No. 3.
Emulation movements are promoted in conjunction with the year's theme of activities "Innovation, creativity, emulation to bring the Resolution of the 13th Congress of Vietnam Trade Union into life, practically achieving achievements to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of Vietnam Trade Union".
Through that, 3,264 initiatives of cadres and employees were recognized. 95% of agencies, units and enterprises met cultural standards. The cultural, artistic and sports movement was widely spread with 848 sports festivals and performances chaired and coordinated by trade unions at all levels, attracting over 17,000 employees to participate.
With the theme of activities in 2025 "Focusing on developing union members; participating in building a clean and strong Party", delegates focused on discussing and contributing ideas to discuss solutions to effectively implement the tasks and goals set for 2025, specifically: Continuing to perform well the function of representing and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and employees, especially the issue of salary arrears and social insurance arrears of union members and employees; Continuing to promote studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style among cadres, union members and employees.
On this occasion, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor presented the emulation flag to the Health Sector Trade Union, and awarded certificates of merit to 5 outstanding collectives in the emulation movement "Excellent workers and building strong trade union organizations" in 2024. LDLD.
