Hue City Labor Federation encourages and supports workers suspected of poisoning

HUE - The working group of the Hue City Labor Federation directly visited, encouraged and presented support to workers suspected of food poisoning.

On the morning of November 12, City Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Hue City Labor Federation Le Minh Nhan led a working delegation to visit 14 workers suspected of food poisoning of JOINTWELL Vietnam Co., Ltd. (CN10 Road, Tu Ha Industrial Park, Huong Tra Ward) being treated at Huong Tra Medical Center.

Here, Mr. Le Minh Nhan kindly asked about their health, gave each worker 1 million VND in support, and encouraged the workers to recover soon to return to work. He also suggested that the company's grassroots union strengthen supervision of shift meals, ensuring food safety and hygiene for union members and workers.

In addition, a worker being treated at Hue Central Hospital, Facility 2, was also given a support of 1 million VND.

As Lao Dong reported, on the morning of November 12, Dr. CKII Le Quang Hiep - Director of Huong Tra Medical Center said that the unit had received 14 workers of JOINTWELL Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Tu Ha Industrial Park, Huong Tra Ward) suspected of food poisoning after lunch on November 11.

The patients were admitted to the hospital with symptoms of vomiting and diarrhea, including 2 cases with complicated developments but were treated promptly. Currently, everyone's health is stable.

Workers' lunch includes fried tuna, shrimp spread, fried eggs, shrimp-bike cabbage soup. Huong Tra Medical Center has taken food samples and feces and sent them to Hue City Center for disease control for testing.
